About

Argus Intelligence builds focused AI tooling for the EU market. Right now that means one product — the EU AI Footprint Scanner — with two more on the way (Aegis-RAG Vault for private RAG deployments, and an Enterprise tier for regulated buyers).

I'm Zhen, the engineer behind it. My background is distributed systems and edge infrastructure — six years shipping production services that had to survive real failure modes. My personal site zhen.ee covers the engineering work in more depth.

Why Argus Intelligence exists

The EU AI Act's GPAI obligations land on 2 August 2026. Most EU SMEs have no idea what's running in their codebase that could be in scope — and the existing compliance tools are aimed at large enterprises with dedicated GRC teams. Small and mid-sized teams need pragmatic, engineering-grade tooling that fits in a CI pipeline. That's the gap Argus Intelligence is built to fill.

How we work

Solo founder. One product line that ships, no roadmap of vapor. Honest about what's done and what isn't — see the FAQ on the homepage for the line between "Scanner the technical tool" and "Scanner as legal certification" (it's not the second). When Aegis-RAG Vault is ready to ship, the same posture applies.
